The number 1 problem for almost every Air Pump is moist air. Feeding your pump with air containing moisture will shorten the life of your pump greatly. Make sure you have an air dryer/air filter inline to remove the excess moisture generated from your compressor. Draining the compressor manually will not totally remove the moisture from your lines.
