General Pump 100825 is a downstream chemical injector for pressure washers and car washes with a 1/4-inch hose barb that is adjustable. It handles a flow rate of 3-5 GPM and a maximum pressure of 4500 PSI. This adjustable downstream injector is made with brass for durability and corrosion resistance.

Specifications:

  • Manufacturer Product Number: 100825
  • Flow Rate: 3.0 to 5.0 GPM
  • Max PSI: 4500
  • Max Temperature: 190°F
  • Inlet Port: 3/8" NPT-M
  • Outlet Port: 3/8" NPT-M
  • Hose Barb: 1/4", adjustable
  • Material: Brass
  • O-Ring: Viton

Application:

  • Car Washes
  • Pressure Washing

Installation:

  • Install valve with direction arrow pointing downstream. For proper operation, a control device such as a dual lance wand, quick couple nozzles, or an adjustable nozzle holder must be used to lower the system pressure at the nozzle. Warning: Under no circumstances should the system pressure exceed the maximum rated pressure of any component.

Troubleshooting:

  • Injector will not draw liquid
    • Cause:
      1. Incorrect nozzle
      2. The system is not in low-pressure mode
      3. Discharge hose is too long
      4. Chemical line is clogged
    • Solution:
      1. Check and change the nozzle
      2. Change or adjust the nozzle to put the system in low-pressure mode
      3. Reduce the length of the discharge hose or change the injector
      4. Clear chemical line of obstruction
  • Rate of draw seems too slow
    • Cause:
      1. Discharge hose is too long
      2. Air leak in chemical line
      3. Chemical is too viscous
    • Solution:
      1. Reduce the length of the discharge hose or change the injector
      2. Locate and repair the leak
      3. Reduce the chemical with water to decrease viscosity
  • Chemical injector is leaking from hose barb
    • Cause:
      1. Obstruction in hose barb check valve
      2. Damaged O-ring in check valve
    • Solution:
      1. Disassemble and remove obstruction
      2. Remove and replace O-ring
  • Excessive pressure load on pump, motor, or engine
    • Cause
      1. Clogged injector
      2. Improperly sized injector orifice
    • Solution
      1. Clear injector orifice of obstruction
      2. Change orifice
