Spears model 839-249 is a pipe reducing bushing made with Schedule 80 PVC because this type of PVC has thicker walls making it great for commercial and industrial applications. PVC is corrosion resistant and won't rust, pit, or scale ensuring the flow of fluid is unobstructed. You can use this bushing for chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage, waste water treatment systems, and car wash water and chemical transportation. This bushing allows you to reduce pipe size from 2 inches to 1 inch in diameter. It is designed with a 2 inch MNPT and a 1 inch FNPT connection.
