I love this pump! I have had this on my carpet cleaning unit for over 3500 hours and not a single problem. Extremely durable!!

These pumps do not hold up well. I have several wash locations and only one location has General pumps, the others have CAT pumps. In 15 years I have only had to change one CAT pump (which are very easy and inexpensive to rebuild your self). My location with General pumps seem to need pumps replaced every couple of years and it cost to much to rebuild them (special tool and sometimes still don't work after rebuild). The company does not offer any warranty past a year so you are stuck with them after you install them. I will also note that we change oil at all of our facilities every six month, which should be more than sufficient to maintain a good pump. We will likely change this location over to CAT's next year. If you have an option go with CAT pumps!
